"Fairy tales are more than true; not because they tell us that dragons exist, but because they tell us that dragons can be beaten."
— G.K. Chesterton
Ive seen this quote pop up in numerous places before: On an episode of Criminal Minds, and the first couple of pages of "Coraline" by Neil Gainman. i feel this quote captions many of the books i read. I read mostly books that do or can have some kind of "monster" in it, whether it be a literal dragon or and evil or malicious person. Whatever the situation i learn from books that they can be beaten. What do you think about this quote , and where else have you see in ?
