Katie : I am so happy to have been introduced to J.L. Bryan this year. the Paranormal series has been the best series , and probably the fastest series i have read though in a while! . i have thoroughly enjoyed every one of the Paranormal books!

Katie: I have only read book one in the Lunar Chronicles series (Cinder) but i am supper impressed and sooo excited to read the rest of the book to come!

Katie: This year i read Half-Blood and Pure so far, and i also hear amazing things about her Lux series. can't wait to read more of her books! Not to mention that i LOVE the fact that she is a West Virginian ! I just moved from good ole WV!

Krisha: I read through these books so fast because they were so dang unpredictable. This is not one of my favorite series because I kept saying "Whaaaaat?!?!" or "Are you freakin' serious???". It was a stressful read but glad to have things changed up with a male author AND male pov.
Katie: The Maze Runner series are a good read, even though the series didnt go in the direction that i expected, i hope the movie talks for this series is still in the works.

Krisha: I'm pretty sure that I didn't read this book until 2012... I like her writing style. I think Mafi has room to grow and I can't wait to see that as she expands the series.
Krisha: I couldn't get our list up to 10 new authors this year since I've been in undergrad then grad school this year. My reading time was mostly spent on reading books 2 and on in series that I started in 2011. Katie and I started this book blog just a few months ago. Between that and my Kindle that Katie & Brandi got me, I'm sure my 2013 list of new authors will be very long!
I got Marissa Meyer on my list too. :) As for Tahereh Mafi, James Dashner, Jennifer L. Armentrout, J.L. Bryan all of them are on my tbr but still did not start those series. Hopefully next year. Great picks!
