Woah! this is a pretty sweet idea to have an amazing bookcase with a nook inside! Saves space, and perfect for a study !
P.S. I am a HUGE fan of having a bookcase so big that i would need a rolling ladder ( like belle from Beauty and the Beast ! )
So So So Sooooo Sorry that i did not post this earlier ! Bad Bad Katie! I totally forgot that today friday! It will never happen again. Just goes to show how the blog falls apart if you neglect it for just one day!

I really wish I had a whole wall of books with a reading nook right inside. Plus, just like you I wish I needed a ladder to get to my books. :)

DeleteI've always wanted something like this, unfortunately neither me (or my family) is really graced with hammer/nails skills. I have also seen some awesome ideas on Pintrest that I would love to have. Someday! Thanks for sharing this.

oh i know right.. thats why i had to go to Ikea to get my current shelf.. but maybe one day I will get crafty enough to built a floor to ceiling shelf ! that would be so cool! pinterest is awesome for figuring out what you want... you may never get to do it, but thats ok cause i have a whole board on pinterest that shows what i want my dream house to be.. and what should be in it! - Katie
