I was completely in awe to see some of the things they had to say about The Hunger Games, i understand the Violence, but Anti-Ethnic, Occult / Satanic? really?!?? and who knew you could challenge a book because it is Anti Family. wow . super surprised. what other books are you surprised about, i haven't read the others, aside from how to kill a mockingbird, so let me know.

  2. What do they even mean by anti-ethnic? Didn't we have the problem with how no on liked that Rue was black in the movie when it was CLEARLY mentioned she was dark skinned in the book. What!? Se education sounds like the book is actually teaching them something that over protective parents would like to keep hidden.
    Who cares if a book has a religious viewpoint? huh?
    Brave New World is really creepy and messed up from what I read. I honestly wouldn't let my kid read it. It's really bad like baby electrocution and then yeah... I stopped.
    What's with My Mom's Having A Baby? I want to read that picture book now.

    1. i know i think its crazy you can ban a book due to anti family, or religious view point, .. anti ethnic? i don't understand, don't we want books to make you think.. i haven't read a brave new world. that sounds like some crazy stuff.. but ... heck you want to read that , then have at it!

      but hunger games i do know.. and i don't think it is inappropriate for middle aged kids, they can handle more than we think ! thanks for checking out the post!!!
