n this third book in the Lunar Chronicles, Cinder and Captain Thorne are fugitives on the run, now with Scarlet and Wolf in tow. Together, they’re plotting to overthrow Queen Levana and her army.

Their best hope lies with Cress, a girl imprisoned on a satellite since childhood who's only ever had her netscreens as company. All that screen time has made Cress an excellent hacker. Unfortunately, she’s just received orders from Levana to track down Cinder and her handsome accomplice.

When a daring rescue of Cress goes awry, the group is separated. Cress finally has her freedom, but it comes at a high price. Meanwhile, Queen Levana will let nothing prevent her marriage to Emperor Kai. Cress, Scarlet, and Cinder may not have signed up to save the world, but they may be the only hope the world has.

                    My Thoughts

Amazing, This series just gets better and better!

No words could ever express how amazing this series is ! Hands down this is an easy 5 star read. I purposely would try and take my time reading Cress just so I didn't have to say goodbye to these amazing Characters for another year!

Cress starts out with our gang ( Cinder, Scarlet, Wolf and Thorne ) all together on Thorne's ship, a.k.a Iko. Our new character addition in this novel is Cress (Cressent) who we quickly find out was the girl who helped Cinder in the first novel by providing very important information. Cress is now in need of help, especially since she has risked her life to help Cinder. I don't want to give away any spoilers but I will say that the rescue mission goes wrong and our whole group gets split up. There were many times I thought all hope was lost, and even though I always believed we would get our group together in the end, I was still on the edge of my seat the entire time! The stress and the amount of pain and worry that all of our characters went through in Cress was completely palpable.

The Lunar Chronicles is the only series I have read that honestly gets better and better as it progresses. It is also the only series in which they keep adding " main characters" that I become attached to, just as much as I was attached to the original characters (Cinder, Kai, and Iko). That Never ever ever ever ever happens !

Hands down MY FAVORITE SERIES, and a MUST READ if you haven't checked out the Lunar Chronicles yet! Winter, book 4 in the Lunar Chronicles is the book I most look forward to in 2015!

Plot : Amazing! Cress had me at the edge of my seat. This series just keeps getting better and better!

Characters: I have never loved and been involved with so many characters in a book at one time before.. LOVE THEM ALL!!! Really loved seeing Cress and Thorne's journey in this one, and learning more about Thorne.

Cover: Perfect.. a great cover to introduce the new member of our kick ass team, Cress.

                    Author Bio

I live in Tacoma, Washington, with my fiancé and our two cats. In addition to my slight obsession with books and writing, I'm big on road-tripping, wine-tasting, and hunting for antiques. I'm represented by Jill Grinberg.
CINDER, my debut novel, is a futuristic re-envisioning of Cinderella in which Cinder is a cyborg mechanic. Release date: 3 Jan 2012.
